For the whole time I used scratch I never had an Apple Pencil, in the very beginning I used my mouse! After that, I used my trusty +finger+. To anyone looking to start drawing digital, you don’t need any fancy stuff. But either way, I’m glad that I finally got one and they *are* very useful: but It shouldn’t discourage anyone who doesn’t have one! :D
