Very few people know about it, and it's a misunderstanding that it's a "disease". Synesthesia is a neurological CONDITION which causes the senses to overlap. Because of this, synesthetes (people with synesthesia) develop unique abilities like being able to hear color, smell words, etc. DISCLAIMER: If you are a synesthete with grapheme-color synesthesia, beware that the colors in the game may not match with yours. You may experience discomfort, but it'll be challenging to play this through "my eyes"! (Also sorry for the really bad puns xD) DISCLAIMER 2: I won't be able to respond to all comments! I didn't color in every single word/number/letter in the narration text because I'm too lazy xD Red (the letter A) is lava. Don't touch it! Green (the letter C) is bouncy. Orange (the letter E) is sticky. Navy blue (the letter S) is slippery. Information: I have 3 strong types of synesthesia. Grapheme-Color: I see colors in letters, punctuation and numbers. Weekday-Color: For me, the names of each day of the week have individual colors. Month-Color: Each month has an individual color for me. I also have mild types of synesthesia: Chromesthesia: I can hear colors and see sounds. Auditory-visual: I can see sounds and music. Full Poem: I was born in a world full of color... Literally. Every sound made had color to me. Every sound made... I could see. All the numbers and letters that I read Even punctuation, brought colors in my head. All the numbers, all the letters The right color made them better. The letter "b" is nice and blue, But it may seem just ordinary to you. The sound of an alarm is red and sharp, But the sight of waves is made by a harp. All this might make no sense to you, But for me, "c" is green, and "g" is too. Colored numbers and letters Help me remember things much better. That's why many synesthetes Have supernatural memories. This all is caused by overlapping of senses And that's where all synesthesia commences. This project has described my synesthesia life, And every part of it makes my life bright.
