_-~* Drifting Cloud bounded up the coast line, searching. He scanned the sandy beach, the rocks that dotted the shore for it. He checked under clumps of weed and across the horizon; nothing. Sighing, he hopped off of the stone he was standing on, his head drooping. He started to head back, when a blue shimmer caught his eye. Racing toward it, he just /knew/ what it was! It was hidden between two dark boulders, sheltered in a patch of sun. He had finally found it; A blue shimmer rose. He stared at it in awe, for whenever one of its magnificent petals caught the light, the whole thing would shimmer. Drifting Cloud couldn't wait to show Blazing Koi this, imagining how stunning it would look on her dappled fur.. Immediately, he felt his face grow warm with the thought of her. He sat up, brushing sand from his tail, and bounded away from the beach, to the spring pools, to show Blazing Koi his flower, and maybe this time, she'd see something in him that she hadn't seen before. *~-_
