(tw// violence, heavy blood and gore) Chosen stared at what Victim had become. Fire emitted from his hands “Alright guys, are you ready?” He spoke up, trying to encourage everyone. Despite shivering, Red nodded “Yeah! Let’s save Victim!” He exclaimed, everyone was ready. They were too prepared to fail. A pair of spider legs grew from Victim’s back, and he lunged at Red, stabbing his chest repeatedly “AAGH!!” He desperately tried to fight back, managing to push Victim off, but only to get caught again and have his arm ripped off. Yellow and Blue tried to use this opportunity to ambush Victim, with Red trying to help despite heavily bleeding. However, they were flung back by Victim. He ran up to Yellow and ripped him open, scattering his organs as blood spilled out. “NO! YELLOW!” Red screamed, trying to get back, but Victim simply impales him with his spider legs. Chosen couldn’t get a good shot, trying to see what he can do with his powers. He shot his laser eyes at him, but it simply didn’t do much. Since his powers weren’t working well, he went up to Victim and started repeatedly punching him. Second was worried “You’re hurting him!” But Chosen didn’t stop “It’s our only hope! He seems to be overwhelmingly corrupted!” Second went over to his friends to see if they’re okay “We have to make a plan!” Green was almost on the verge of tears “HOW?! Yellow got t-torn open! T-That things fast, so it’ll take us down before we could even think about how to stop it!” Second sighed “It’s what we have to do. Hey… where’s Third?” As Victim managed to get Chosen off, Third rushed past him on all fours. Despite being controlled by the hostility venom, she somehow managed to only want to attack Victim… she successfully disemboweled him, with some of his blood spilling but all Victim did was pull up a panel and pressed Undo which healed him, and then he caught up to Third and threw a Redo at her, which did the damage she did to Victim on herself. The blood was mostly unnoticeable from the black grass. He went back trying to look for everyone else. All of a sudden, he got overwhelmed as everyone attacked him at once, which knocked him down. Second’s hidden powers managed to awaken, the green lasers blasted at him which sort of burns him. Some skin did appear to fall off, but Victim wasn’t affected by his peeling skin, and only went to attack Blue. He grew a machine gun on his back, and it repeatedly shot him to death. Holes were all over his body, with blood spilling out from all of them. This only made Awakened Second more furious, and he continued throwing attacks at Victim, but they never seemed to take him down. Victim was screaming in agony… so much pain, but he was ignoring it to try to get him. Along with that, Chosen threw fireballs at him. Before they knew it, Green was eventually ripped in half, leaving only the two of them. Chosen grabbed Second’s wrists and they hid behind some trees “Hey, we need to make a plan.” He whispered, trying not to sound terrified. Second nodded “I agree with you. Did you see the panel he opened to kill Third? Maybe if we can distract him enough, we could open a panel ourselves to recover him?” Chosen sighed “I-I don’t know… I’m just so s-scared.” Tears flowed out of his eyes, but he stayed determined “Alright. We can do this.” Victim was walking around in circles, wondering where the two were, his giant black glitchy wings twitching. Suddenly Second blasted at him with his lasers, which he was failing to dodge, but starting to slowly chase him. This gave Chosen another opportunity for an extra special attack “W-What can I do…? I have to finish this.” He looked at the scattered corpses on the ground from the failed attempts… the groans and screams of misery from the inhabitants of the Midwinter Gloom were driving him crazy as well. Second was becoming heavily scarred and no longer being able to distract Victim as Second grew tired. This gave Chosen a chance to try, he flew up in the sky and started charging some electricity in his body, and Second was thrown to a nearby tree. Victim would join him and flew up to the sky with his wings. Chosen would then finally unleash the electricity, which weakened Victim enough. Chosen used this opportunity and clicked him, pulling up a panel which brung up multiple options, but he chose recover. Suddenly, a huge blast came from him, freeing Victim from the file corruption but also shattered the black sky of the Midwinter Gloom, temporarily making it sunny. Second knew he was running out of time while awakened so he brought his friends together and revived everyone and healed himself, and then returned to normal, almost passing out. Chosen got on the ground, and saw Victim falling from the sky into a huge lake. As everyone woke up, he shared what needed to happen “Guys, we won… but Victim is falling and could drown! We need to rush down quickly, and before the Midwinter Gloom darkens again!” (REST IN N&C)
Everyone agreed and ran off. Blue had Yellow’s hand, and Red helped Green as he was limping. Second was behind and especially Third, trying to catch up when suddenly a loud noise was heard. Second turned back to see Third trapped in an electric net “THIRD! A-Are you okay?!” He screamed in terror, but as he tried to run up to her, but was suddenly shot and fell to the ground. Two SWAT guards came from the Midwinter Gloom’s entrance that Chosen made “We’ve caught it. 003 is contained, I repeat 003 is contained. There’s also another person who we’ve shot just in case.” One of them spoke through the walkie talkie “Bruce, we need confirmation.” A blue stickfigure with heterochromia came down. “My, my… this one…” he went over to Second, examining his body “Looks perfect.
