there are multiple reasons why I don't really care for transformers prime. the main reason is the style of humans. they feel too much like mannequins and bloby. also scale: arcee should not be that big whenever she is a motorcycle. I can get the thing known as "mass shifting" like with Astro train in the g1 cartoon. but as far as I know in tfp there isn't anything regarding mass shifting. also designs, I get they're sorta exaggerated but the decepticons are to spikey and the autobots are to round. the different factions are chosen by bots based on the bots' mortal opinion on control of outside forces like other planets and species. they make the different factions look like separate species rather than the same species. also the alt modes. the autobots have more generally common alt modes while the decepticons have more exotic alt modes with discernible colors. and then shockwave. he isn't even close to a human vehicle alt mode and it isn't that much of a transformation. now some pros are soundwave's design. his robot mode is so sick and his alt mode makes a lot of since. also I am a sucker for transformers with human names. so go Steve.
