Squid game “Also full of anger.” I was in the school hallway with him, my shoulder leaning against my locker. He was facing towards me. He was wearing a leather jacket with printed flames on it. I swear he wore that thing everyday when I got it for him for his birthday. I think he got it tailored whenever he grew. He was wearing black faded-out jeans, with a belt that read “Best Cowboy in the West”. His shoes were white, red, and black, with yellow-orange rings on the ankles. But, he looked hot in anything. I was holding my Trig textbook and notebook, and a few jammed papers hanging sticking out from both of the books. Shadow was holding one too, but also holding a binder. He was always more organized than me. I should get him to teach me. A loud chiming sound repeated a few times in the hallway, the bell rang. “Well, Trig's starting now. We better go.” I turned to my left and started to make my wall down the hall. Shadow wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me close as we walked to class. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Oh, c’mon, where is he? Shadow was supposed to be here 20 minutes ago, but he never showed. What was going on? Then I heard a car pulling up behind me. It was a beat-up old black Jeep, with the headlights on. A black figure climbed out of it, holding a large pink box. Then the figure was walking towards me, and I crossed my arms, knowing exactly who it was. “Shadow! You were supposed to be here 20 minutes ago! Where were you?!” He sat down on the grass and placed the pink box in front of me. “Sorry, sorry! The store made me wait a lot longer than usual. The place was packed.” It was Valentines Day, meaning everyone was wanting to buy cupcakes for their loved ones. I took the box of cupcakes and tossed him the bag of fudge brownies. “Don’t get all drunk on those okay? I know my baking is that good, but I don’t want you acting silly so I don’t have to drive you back home. Capisce?” “Capisce.” It was dark out in the park, but the grass was soft, due to it drizzling not that long ago, so it was a little moist. I looked up, the stars were clearer than newly cleaned glass. I placed the pink box at my feet, took a cupcake, and laid down on my back. Shadow laid down beside me, and I repositioned myself for my head to be on his chest. He wrapped his free hand around me, while his other hand was holding one of the fudge brownies I baked. We stared at the stars for a while, but then I sat up. “What’s wrong, Speedy? Not your luxury couch I assume?” “Nah, you're even better.” I held up my 3rd or 4th cupcake. “Let’s make a toast.” “A toast? Where are we, at the Queen’s dinner party?” I smiled and held up my cupcake. “Let's make a promise. That nothing will ever happen to each other as long as each of us are alive. And we will always have each other’s backs, and be there for each other. And….” I paused. “...and if one of us dies, we won’t spend the rest of our lives moping and just…be there. We will continue on with our lives, love again, and go on with our lives.” “But I’ll still love you.” “I never said stop loving!” I continued. “And always be loyal to each other.” Shadow smirked his trademark smirk and leaned his fudge brownie towards my cupcake. But he kept going, right up to my face as his lips met mine for a surprise kiss. He pulled away. “Oops, I went too far.” He replied, his face not sorry at all. I laughed. “So, cheers.” “Cheers.” And everything blurred in this so-called reality, as I felt tears roll down my cheeks as I opened my eyes to my real reality.Next thing I knew I was in a dormitory, 456 players.Then they bring us to a game, red light green light.Some player ran fast then moved a little on red light……he got shot.Then people ran and got shot.I remembered, I couldn’t use my speed.Thats what they said.I ran for a ton of of time.Then there was ten seconds left, the doll said green light.
