So like... you know how follower sword affiliates with illumina? Yeah. What if Illumina tries to snatch up the church of the true eye's members one by one, starting with scythe? I'll call this the.. uh.. "Degrading belief" AU. The reason why it starts with Scythe being the first for Illumina to target, is because she is a very powerful asset in the church of the true eye. This is practically just illumina gaslighting Scythe a bunch and making her question her own devotion, which is QUITE hard to make her do such things. Let's say, for some reason, The Father(Overseer) deems Scythe defected, has no reason to "rehabilitate" her, and throws her out of the church of the true eye. Still in the faction, Follower Sword comes up to her(perfect timing, I know.), and basically takes her to his abode, telling her the entire way there about Illumina and, well, all that deity stuff. Slowly, but surely, Scythe will give in to these new... concepts, dare I say. Perhaps it's even a cult? A rivalling "religion" against the church of the true eye. let's get on with the characters shall we? MAIN CHARACTERS!!
