Ellie rubbed her eyes. It was morning, and the sun dawned upon them. As she looked around she noticed that she was no longer in the trench, but instead a somewhat camping site among the leafy-green trees. "Where are we?" She groaned to Henry. But he turned his head away and didn't reply. "What happened?" She asked. "You got bitten by a Reaper." Henry mumbled gruffly. Ellie tried to stand up, but her leg was too painful to move. She squinted. "How are we EVER going to get out of here now? We've already failed our exam by taking longer than a day, and now my leg's broken!" "We won't." Ellie rolled her eyes. "Wow. That's really helpful!" Henry frowned. He thought Ellie was an ungrateful brat. "I'm the one who brought us here, and otherwise you would've probably died by now." At this Ellie went pale for a second. She hadn't thought about Henry at all, or what he'd done, and the guilt burnt through her skin like flint against steel. Ellie looked away from Henry. Henry hated her, if she said sorry then he would only get more angry. There were a few moments of strange silence. "We'll leave at sunrise." Henry muttered bitterly. "What do you mean? It's not like I can walk or anything!" Ellie exclaimed. Henry rolled his eyes and looked up high as if to say "Oh beautiful dear sky why art thou cruel to me banishing me with this idiot." He rolled his eyes back up and uttered. "I'll carry you there, but only if you stay silent." Ellie nodded silently, and laid her head back into her arms blissfully.
