The newly formed Provisional Republic of Omega would use its combined forces to do a counter attack on the TPC, halting their advance towards Omegus. Headed by Quargathop Mankilla, this offensive would use the best of both militaries in the Republic. This new increase in manpower and quality would be enough to halt the advance of the, even pushing back slowly. Additionally, some TPC ships would be captured, allowing for their technology to be of use to the Republic.
