Why is this not a crap post I may be slowly going mad over these two Part 1. What is Mitsukou Mitsukou is a ship from the manga/anime toilet bound Hanako kun involving the two characters Sousuke Mitsuba and Kou Minamoto! They are currently unconfirmed as canon BUT I WILL MAKE THEM CANON TRUST I’m obsessed with them as you may have seen throughout my bajillion posts and art about them! This project will explain their canon ness Part 2. Examining the characters. 2A. Kou Minamoto. Gay. Very gay. Canonically would die for Mitsuba Bisexual I called it !!!!!!! Look at those eyes. Those are the eyes of a homosexual trust. Says “Mitsuba!” With homosexual eyes multiple times Was v sad when Mitsuba forgot him May or may not have depression Dude 2B. Sousuke Mitsuba Also very gay. Pink Pink very pink Do you see that. That oversized sweater- Canonically never liked a girl Was friend of kou earlier in life (6th grade I think) straight up GAY not even bisexual Likes men Dude aswell Part 3. Why they are canon 3A. Mitsuba arc In this arc, kou meets Mitsuba for the “first” time. Mitsuba is a ghost at this point, and kou wants to help him pass on by finishing his unfinished business. Mitsuba says his unfinished business is to take pictures, so they proceed to take some of those. They want to get the pictures developed tomorrow, but are interrupted by Tsukasa, Hanako’s twin brother. Mitsuba had asked Tsukasa for a wish: “I want friends.” But the wish backfired. Tsukasa sensed that Mitsuba and kous relationship was more than just friends* and proceeded to mutilate Mitsuba beyond recognition and take out his souls because Mitsuba wants to be a human and he has to pay with a peice of his soul- his mind. (* /j he just said “one friend and you’re happy? I DONT THINK SO” ) Kou tries to fight Tsukasa and fails, Hanako then appears and explains that Mitsuba is gone forever to kou. He cries (yess ((I’m sorry chat))) Kou then goes home to develop the pictures and finds a picture of himself. More tears :thumbs: 3B. hell of mirrors arc Nene yashiro (the main protagonist) gets sucked into a world through a mirror, by a disembodied hand. Nene then meets a boy who calls himself “Mitsuba”. Nene was not there when Mitsuba died, so she sees him as a normal ghost. Mitsuba explains that he sucked her in because he lost all his memories and is stuck in this place. She agrees to help him get out. Meanwhile, Kou and Hanako worry about nene and search for a way into the mirror world. Mitsuba and nene encounter school mystery no. 3 (a monster bird) while trying to escape. No 3 tried to destroy them, but Tsukasa arrives, easily destroying the monster. Tsukasa then hands Mitsuba the monsters heart, and explains that to stay alive and get stronger, he has to eat other supernaturals. Mitsuba transforms into the new no 3. Still himself, but with a few added features. Ha also and kou finds a way into the hell of mirrors and bust in. Kou is ecstatic but also confused to see Mitsuba. Kou runs up to him, and Mitsuba says “Who are you?” Tsukasa explains. Mitsuba is dead and gone from this world forever. But he put Mitsuba soul into a new body that may act and talk like the real thing, but isn’t him. The real Mitsuba will never exist in this world again. Kou is devastated. While Hanako tends to nene, Kou walks up to Mitsuba and tries to get him to remember him. He does not. Tsukasa then says that Mitsuba has to “fight” Kou, nene, and Hanako. Mitsuba refuses multiple times and then knocks them out of the mirrors with force. Kou explains to nene and Hanako how he knew Mitsuba, and says “I’m fine” (spoiler alert he’s not) 3C. Picture perfect arc. Kou arrives at school one day to see Mitsuba alive and well, and doing normal school things! There are cut roses when they first meet in the classroom, and Kou says “it felt like time had stopped” (very gay if you ask me) Mitsuba seems to remember him, and all loud friends can see Mitsuba. Kou as his suspicions. Kou later meets with nene while cleaning the cool pool, and nene states that Hanako is “alive” too, when in reality, both Hanako and Mitsuba are ghosts. Kou and nene confront Mitsuba, who explains that it’s a fake world, created by school mystery no. 4, shijima mei. Kou and nene immediately try to destroy the world, and then meet shijima, who tells them the only way to destroy the world is to k1ll Mitsuba and Hanako. They refuse. Next, the crew goes stargazing, and during it, kou pulls Mitsuba away to ask him more about the world. Mitsuba explains that he got his memeories back while looking through the schools history. In a mirror, Mitsuba displays the old Mitsuba- the real one. Kou looks at the old one in a way that causes Mitsuba to go ballistic, asking things like “what’s so wrong with this world?” And “I’ll never be good enough as the real Mitsuba.” They end on a balcony where Mitsuba states “you’re alive, you’ll never understand me.” Kou jumps off of the balcony.
