Stage 1:infected feels tired, no other symptoms other than faster energy drain. Stage 2:hands begin to be covered in the rot, victim with start to lack joy, and will start to have a cough. Stage 3:whole arms and legs are covered in the rots, victim will go manic will start to attack victims, having an urge to infect others. Stage 4:the rot will start to cause bodily mutations, most commonly unhinged jaws and lankier limbs, the victim will lose their mind and intelligence. Stage 5:the victims body will start to stretch, mutations rapidly happen in the stage, the victim at this stage is no longer sentient and has been fully assimilated into the hive mind. Stage 6:the victim will look normal again, with slight changes, but this is only a facade, at will, they can sprout tendrils from their back, they become sentient again due to the hive mind. Stage 7:the victim with start to turn into the goo, the tendrils on their back will start to feed off the body, growing in size. Stage 8:the victim will now be immobile, their head being fully converted in the goo, with their body being fully converted to goo. Stage 9a:the body will become fully assimilated, being just a pile of immobile goo. Stage 9b:the assimilated will become a pillar of goo, these pillars are able to spread the infection through shooting the goo at targets. Stage 9c:the only mobile 9 stage, these creatures are fast, but cannot take a beating, they will run up to a target and cover their face with their mouth, and will spread the rot to the target Stage 10:this is what happens when multiple rot infected collide in extremely fast succession.
