For the first time in ten years, all men who participated in Project Quarry are coming home. They have worked in the mines, getting the ore that allows the nation to run. They will all be returning as of May 31st. When they return, we will find new, younger volunteers who will then move back out into Fodere and continue to mine. All men who were the first to take part in Project Quarry are going to be paid enough income to survive, not that they will need it after the high pay they received for working. Pay for working out in the Fodere mines is very high because they have a 30% chance of not coming home. We have sadly lost about a fourth of our men. But all families will be compensated. These men are coming home to their families. This will become the first official BlackSmith holiday, and every ten years it will be celebrated. All prices will be lower, and gifts will be offered to other nations. It is a time to celebrate the men who came back from the most perilous job in the galaxy (besides working in the forges, but I will talk about that some other time). Why yes, this is in fact the amount we were able to mine. I did the math to find out how much we could mine while working at the highest efficiency possible. I will be offering emeralds to anyone who wants them.
