The utilized AI is capable of continuously collecting and processing environmental data from the vehicle’s many sensors. The AI utilizes the tank’s millimeter band and doppler band radar, raman laser rangefinder, crosswind sensor, thermographic camera/sensor, and optical system with a digital image processing system. The AI uses such systems to detect threats around or near the vehicles, determine if they are a valid threat via friend-or-foe identification systems, and relay this information to crews. This allows the crew of the vehicle to have heightened senses. The AI is also integrated into the optics of the vehicle, allowing for enhanced vision and digital pictures. This AI can be turned on or off for the best capabilities by the tank commander.
