Well…this chapter is long… ——————————————————- Teba sighed. After an hour of silence, he felt like whipping up a meal near the fire. Tulin shivered. While practicing he could feel his feathers numb. “I know you're cold.” Teba said. “Here, have some curry i made by the fire.” While they ate, a rito guard rushed to teba. “Monsters! They are invading rito village!” Tulin gasped. “It can't be! The monsters would never have the chance to climb up to rito village!” Teba exclaimed. Tulin was afraid, but it was a chance to show his father what he can do. “I'm coming with,” tulin said, drawing his bow. “No, you stay here. It is too dangerous.” teba said, patting tulin's head. “But–” “I cannot afford to lose you as rito village lost kanelli,” teba explained. Before teba flew off with the rito guard, tulin sneakily pick-pocketed his arrows before so. Tulin waited for his opportunity. He already waited ten minutes, but forgot to count all the arrows. “Five, ten, twenty…thirty arrows! That must be good enough!” He said to himself. Tulin stored his arrows and took off. Tulin, now high in the air, watched as rito village devastated to defend from the monsters. He could eye some red bokoblins he could get for aiming practice, but he needed to be super stealthy. He couldn't let his father push him to the ground. He pulled an arrow from his claws, aimed, eyeing the red bokoblin easily, and then blow a shot. “A miss!” He exclaimed. Teba was easily distracted with an ice lizalfos to find out, so tulin pulled out another arrow. He did it a little faster so the bokoblin wouldn't be out of reach, but he fired too fast the bow slipped out of his claws. “No!” He yelled. From far away, teba turned his head. Luckily, tulin swooped down too fast for him to notice, but he was having a strange feeling. Tulin managed to get the bow. “Aaaarghhhh!!!!!” He exclaimed. “Maybe I am just a weak 8 year-old failure! I can't do anything!” he felt like wanting to cry. But deep inside, he felt someone he has never met before. “Oh, please don't act like an asinine loser like I was,” the voice said. In tulin's mind he could see the image of a dark blue rito with a familiar eagle bow. “I used to doubt everyone in my path the same way you doubt yourself. And I also hated link as much as you, except I hated him way more.” This was the image of revali, the rito champion who piloted vah medoh. “well, I don't hate link…but he acts as if he is way better than me, which is true…” tulin corrected. “but that does not mean you should step on yourself like that, because after I went to the afterlife, I never forgave anyone. I regretted that, and if you're doing it to yourself, then there will be the same consequences.” revali explained. “you're…right.” tulin mumbled. “I know, I always am…but…” revalli paused. “but what?” tulin asked. “...well, I forgot…you have to shoot that arrow!” revali smiled. His image faded away, allowing tulin to get back to reality. he flew back up and drew the arrow. “One…last…time…” he whispered. With a small aim, the arrow flew off the bow, landing right on the bokoblin’s head. “Yes!” Tulin whispered. Teba turned his head, seeing tulin flying in the air with his bow. “Wha—TULIN!!” ((End of chapter))
Notes: (credits down below) *warning* This chapter contains a little more violence than the first two. I am not trying to make it gorey, but if you’ve ever played botw or totk, you get the drill. This took a long time to make. A lot of fixing grammar (not sure I fixed everything, lol) creating up what happens next…you know. And I just got a bit of a twist with Revali bc I wanted to.
