copied from the YT post: For the five years I've been drawing digitally, I've redrawn an old art piece every spring, and I'm continuing the tradition! This year, I chose to redraw a PCE artwork that I made last year, featuring my lonely kitten Kairn. This scene is actually based on an actual scene from the game! Overall, I'm quite happy with how I've improved this year, though I feel I could have improved more on backgrounds had I drawn them more often - I could count the number of complex backgrounds I drew this year on one hand, and half of those were for my Horse and the Infant MAP part. Don't get me wrong, I definitely have improved, however, and I'm happy with where I am for my efforts this year. My goal for the coming year is to work on more complex backgrounds and get myself to the same level of confidence drawing backgrounds as drawing characters! ======
