The canoe is continually floating down the stage with the current. Use the right arrow to move it up the stage and avoid rocks. Use the up and down arrow keys to tilt and angle the canoe to avoid the rocks. Tuck your paddles in and float by pressing and holding the left arrow key. Hit more than five rocks and your canoe springs a leak and your adventure is done.
What other ways could you use to control the boat? Try using this with Scratch Face Sensing blocks: instead of controlling the direction with arrow keys, try "point in direction face tilt," and try attaching the canoe to your nose to move it along the y-axis.
