♫ ♪ Are you, are you, coming to the tree? ♪ ♫ ✩ Azelia sat, washed over by the coming dawn light. Her tree swayed with the sea's breeze, her only source of land. She looked down, at the small island gathered below her, with mostly sand, but small fronds had sprung up from the ground. She let her mind wander. How had /this/ happened, exactly? Her friend, he was kind, genuine, and overall just a good cat. Could he really be the one who had poisoned the magic less king? She shook her head, sighing and laying it on the tree's rough bark. Her tail swayed on the wind, at the sun climbed higher into the sky. Azek would never, EVER kill somebody...then who did? She listened to the bobbing of the waves, and sighed again. She wished he was here. With her. So he could explain everything. But no, only her. Yet again. Sighing, (she did that a lot), Azelia sat up again, ears pricked. She remembered now. Looking for Azek, the waters rising from the bay, cats screaming for help as the flood washed them away, and in Azelias case, into the sea, with no one to help her get out. And now, with no sign of any cat, she would never know what happened to him. If /only/ they hadn't fought, some stupid thing, because she didn't understaned why he would have poisoned someone. And why he didn't understand why she didn't believe him. Because then, maybe, Azek would be here with her✩ ♫ ♪ Where I told you to run, so we'd both be free ♪ ♫
