I hit 100 followers recently--May 10th. Now, while it technically isn't 100 people due to all of the alts also following me, that's still an achievement. In order to celebrate, I'm gonna reflect for once. I started scratch with fun projects and remixes. First, a small battle with bad art, then a recreation of a Google Doodle that we all love, then some remixes... And it was fine. These projects were a good starting point. Eventually, I got into powerscaling after getting back into watching Death Battles, and I started a tournament series of my own--mostly so people would give me characters to do bad calculations for. It was also a ploy to gain followers and... well, it kinda worked. The first two tournaments were decent enough! The third and fourth were flops, though. I just wasn't interested in that style of series anymore. BTW, SGM beats Doodly. Sorry Doodly fans. Going backwards in time before the second tournament, I didn't have very many friends. This lead to me scrolling through people's profiles when I was bored. One day, when I was bored, I noticed @LittleMonkeyGamer173 advertising CL to @CalicoCreator / Cheese Man. I saw that invitations were still open and hopped in. CL Season 1 was both a good and a bad thing to join for me. Good because of what it led to, bad because... well, the projects I made around that time just don't fit my standard anymore. However, some people just think I put my standards way too high even if I don't personally think that it's *that* high, so who's to say? CLS1 passed and CLS2 came. I regret my actions during this time period, I should NOT have done the things I did. CLS3 also eventually came, and that opens up even MORE things I regret doing. DW, the episode is still being worked on, just slowly. I hate how slow it's coming but I have a lot going on and the last time I asked someone for help with it they gave a result that didn't feel in the style of how I produce CL. I could've used better words to tell them that, though. Around early to mid 2024, my projects finally started meeting a quality that I was happy with. The art was consistent, the things I focused on and actually completed were good, and it was great. A Worthless Talk is still one of my favorite projects because of what it means to me. I was and still am pretty apathetic and so I let that out in the project. Realms Apart is one of my favorite things that I've ever worked on. It's helped me improve my art, writing, and world building significantly. PLEASE ask me question about it, I WANT TO yap so, SO much about the things I love working on. Absence (name by Cheese Man) / [the Axorandom Stick Animations] is also a good thing that I like working on. It's helped me a TON in terms of learning good animation and I have so many cool fight ideas (tho I won't be able to deliver on most of them). From what I've seen, most people typically do some bad DMC (Draw My Character) contest for these milestones, but I won't. Sure, I want to see people draw my characters, but I want them to do that in a sincere way! Not for a contest or anything! Something recent that has happened, something OFF of Scratch may I add, is that I finally found a community where I can contribute to and be wanted in. Remember the hobby I mentioned earlier? The one that inspired the tournaments? Well, that started because I wanted to do calculations for feats and, well, that's something I am doing! I've learned how to do 2^2 and now I can help others with 2+2! I've also made a few profiles for the FC/OC Battles Wiki (Sword Guy Man, Filbert, Frisk (Lhugueny), Springtrap (Lhugueny), and Genderless Child), so check those out if you want!!! So yeah, things have been looking up for me recently. Sure, I have tons of regrets, but those are the past. And technically, you reading this is also in the past because I am done writing! Well, *now* it's finished :P
The song I used here is Gentle Repose by Dunni. BTW you should totally check out Dunni's music, it's so good!!! And genuine!!! Ngl she's the best music artist I know when talking about the vibes in the artist's music peeps you should check out: @CalicoCreator (well, he's working on his last project, but staying around for that will hopefully lead to epic results!) @accountforschoollol (well, he barely does anything on scratch, but his art is cool!) @boxthings2 (well, he's not on scratch anymore, but he has cool games!) @-TaxEvasion- (they're a funny fellow who occasionally uploads art that I enjoy) @Axorandom09 (they're a cool fella but there's not too much to talk about) @thethingaboutcharlie (not one of my friends but they make some really cool art and you should totally check it out) @LittleMonkeyGamer173 (she has some cool stuff, like CL! That was, like, a big thing I talked about!!!) @CupNStr (His content isn't my cup (hehe) of tea but he deserves the support since a lot of his stuff is actually pretty enjoyable) @HomerAnimations (Homer has some cool projects going on and you should check them out) @Spoiled_Pasta (Not a friend of mine but they have the yummiest art ever)
