She looked over the hills, staring at a small house about a mile away. It was his house. Se-Larr blushed, and stopped her desperate gaze despite her wishes. How could she be so obsessed with someone she had never even met? How could she be so obsessed with someone she wasn't even sure existed? After Poro-Larr had almost taken her head of with his young lion, which he assured her after was a pure accident, she had strolled to one of the hillside treasure shops, to sit outside and think. It was her favorite shop because from here, she had an incredible view of his house. It was such a simple design, tucked into a small cave, so that the rocks around it would protect it from the harsh elements. And yet she knew someone very important lived inside its simple structure. But she must not think of this any longer. She had other things to do. With a sigh, she scooted the chair back from the table and stood, but as she did so, her foot caught on the bottom of the table and she fell forward. She closed her eyes, expecting to face plant for the second time that day. But when she felt no rock hard ground against her face, a flush spread across her face. “Whoa, careful Miss clumsy! You ok?” With a skip in her heart, Se-Larr looked into the face of the person whose arms had caught her. She hadn’t even seen him coming! Although she wasn’t sure it was possible, her face flushed even deeper, turning the most brilliant shade of magenta. It was him. She didn’t know how she knew it, but she did. Noticing her flush, he spoke quickly. “Oh, I am very sorry my lady. I was simply teasing when I called you clumsy. I should not have said that. Do you pardon me?” “I-I-I… yes.. thank you!” Pulling herself away, she ran down the road, faster than the winged lions that flew in the sky.
