I'm trying to learn how to play the chromatic harmonica. There are 10 holes in a harmonica. for each, you can either breathe in or out, getting a different note. but for this chromatic harmonica, you can also push a button that will reveal a second level of notes chromatically increased from the first. So there are 10 positions, with 4 different notes that are reached depending on your configuration. It can be complex to remember how to play this, usually you are depending on remembering the changes in position - whether or not to change position, breathing, or button.
