He abandoned his signature glasses, revealing piercing red eyes that had once been a normal hue. Shadows seemed to cling to his face, a reflection of his growing alignment with the dark side. Pendleton no longer saw the Scarlet Squad as mere obstacles; they were now his targets. He didn’t just want them caught in the crossfire—he wanted their heads on a silver platter.
