it’s been a wild ride! five whole years of scratch… wow. i have seen some scratchers who quit before they could make it to 5 years of scratching, but i respect their decision. nonetheless, it’s awesome that i’m pretty much a veteran of this platform. however, there are still some things i don’t really know about on this website! anyway, i just hope from here on out, i can pursue in an awesome journey of being a game developer (a talent that i keep hidden so much that i think i really shouldn’t be saying that i’m agnostic to my choice of career)!!! then again, i’m also considering writing books since i’m so eLoQuEnT and all that (i wasn’t quoting anyone with that “eloquent” for clarification… maybe the effortless and eloquent dancer julia michaels but still not really quoting anyone), but i mainly wish to be capable of making EPIC games!!! Piggy, Plants vs. Zombies, Baldi’s Basics, Undertale, Tower Heroes, Tower Defence Simulator, Friday Night Funkin, Pikmin, etc. are all games that have really meant a lot to me (there ARE more games on that list, i just couldn’t be bothered to list them all) and they’ve really made some good contributions to my time on the platform. i first started with humble beginnings, a measly one project: Ping Pong (https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/393650713/). it was very bland and was assembled with a tutorial, but i was proud of it at the time. it was the first step to being an unnoticed yet happy user of Scratch. i then followed with a couple of sequels to the original, some cringy animations, bad screamers (not using the more common word for screamers just in case the Scratch Team are feeling like the grim reaper someday) and the whole sh-bang. it wasn’t until on November 20th 2020 that a project of mine would gain a lot of attention (THAT front paged Treasure Trove project outdoes it by having several times the amount of views as Piggy Skin Maker, but that project isn’t in the public eye anymore, and understandably so). it was based off of Piggy, one of the key games to my time on Scratch. Roblox has just been a source of energy for a ton of my Scratch projects, really. way before that though, on July 12th 2020, my first OC would be created: White Person. having no eyes, a line for a body and a circle for a head, he was just humbly using a computer when suddenly he was greeted with Cat OS. what a remarkable project… peak GoAnimate ripping off slop. jokes aside, White Person underwent several redesigns. the one you can see on the ‘artwork’ of this project right now is the current version of him, of course. i would then ambitiously create dozens upon dozens and dozens of projects, ranging from mediocre in quality to utmost cringe from quantity. i’d be happy to just research my own projects for a while to dedicate you a brilliant yet uneventful story of an autistic Scratcher, but i don’t have that spare time (i do actually, but as of now, it would be rather wasteful for what i really could be doing as i’m writing this). in summary, there’s been ups and downs, pros and cons, successes and disasters, et cetera et cetera et cetera. don’t have a good day, have a great day, Scratchers!
credits to all!!! gosh i’ve used that phrase for so long now. i believe i first used it in a project about beating the Ice Age baby to death (absolute masterpiece that project is). i just can’t comprehend the fact that we went from funny Trollge Incidents and Morshu beatboxes to astronomically overused Tung Tung Tung Sahurs and Tralelero Tralalas… oh how the internet has decayed to absolute oblivion. i suppose i can’t really say much more now, it’s just been quite the ride on Scratch to be honest. if you actually read all that… well, i’m impressed. i’ll stop wasting your time now. have a nice day/night/sunrise/sunset/noon/afternoon/midnight/etc. scratch on!
