@LiesieSB ^w^ .:Backstory:. Faith was only a little filly. She didn't know what was right and what was wrong. One day in the spring, when the grass was a bright, vivid green, and the water sparkled and glimmered in the lake, Faith was playing with her brother, and all seemed fine in the Sun's Shadow Tribe. Roader, her brother, kicked the apple over to her, and it landed behind a large boulder. Faith trotted over to get it. Lowering her head down to pick it up, she saw something shiny in the corner of her eye. "What's that..?" She murmured to herself under her breath as she walked closer to the object. It was a small skull, not a horse's, but some other creature. "A human skull." Faith whirled around in alarm. One of the elders of the tribe, Light, had found her. "Human?" Light nodded. "Our tribe has been in this pasture for centuries, and centuries after that. In that history, we have encountered many enemies, trying to take our home. One of those, were the humans. They were stronger than all the rest, with strange hooves, that could hold weapons, and potions that could heal their comrades. We were no match for them in a fight. Eventually, we had tricked those humans. We knew this land much better than those invaders, and we led them to the Bubbling Geyser. They didn't see it coming when we kicked them all inside, where they perished." Light laughed. "That's.. interesting." Faith squeaked. "But humans still exist. They are everywhere. We haven't been bothered by them for a long time, though." Light added as she trotted towards a sunny patch of clovers. Faith thought for a moment. It would be quite the tale to tell all the other horses if she found a human herself! It seemed like a great idea at the time. Scanning the area around the boulder, she noticed that there were even more of those irregular shaped skulls. A trail of them. She trotted along the trail of skulls for a few hours before noticing how far away from home she was. Faith looked around her, and in the distance, there was smoke coming up to the sky.
