A new story. After an attempt at shooting down one of our fighters, two Union interceptors quite literally lost the target. All 3 fighters involved returned to airbase, the union no knowing for sure about the fate of the Ashkratian Fighter. The fighter pilot was assumed KIA until It was made public that the pilot indeed survived unscathed, however the same can't be said for the aircraft. The engine was mostly damaged.
