(i didn't know what to do for the thumb so here's this) ✁----------------- 1. how are you? just wanted to tell you that you are beautiful, smart, amazing, and you deserve the world. uh thanks- I'm doing okay; dreading having to leave here in a bit cause of work (I usually work 11-5) 2. what kind of art do you enjoy doing? comics and memes ig 3. what is you favorite medium? digital all the way baby 4. who is your favorite artist? uh @_birb-alertt_ @mystique-- @__Retroo__ 5. where do you get your inspiration? either goofy WEBTOONS that i used to read back in 2023 (the ones I look back on with nostalgia anyway like Ingrid The Plague Doctor & A Kat's (GOD AWFUL!!) Blessing) or cool anime art 6. what do you like to create? uh buff men and anime furries. occasionally monsters 7. when have you started doing art? i first started making comics when I was a small child (like 4) and I've always wanted to make comics for a living 8. are you planning/doing art for a career? yes pls. I'm going to work with my dad as a salesman for the next few years after I turn 18 but hopefully I can eventually make comics full time 9. do you post art here? yep. most people would say I'm more well-known than some others sadly (cough cough go check out @mystique-- and @__Retroo__ ) 10. are you interested in art history? eh not really. there's some cool stuff you can find like Van Gogh cutting off his ear but for the most part eh 11. do you go to any classes for art? nope, self-taught baby 12. list 5 of your inspirations. it can be anyone! @mystique-- @__Retroo__ @_birb-alertt_ Jazza (on YT) Crown Obsidian (also on YT, he makes comics for a living and I've actually gotten to talk to him a few times! He actually reviewed TaDGA in the past but sadly I lost the mail) 13. do you ever get burnt out? if so, how do you deal with it? eh every once in a while. i take a break for a few days and watch movies and work and stuff 14. what supplies do you use to draw? a samsung galaxy tablet that's like 4 years old at this point and occasionally sharpie pens 15. do you like painting? nah, I've tried a few times but I'm impatient 16. do you sell your artwork? I've done commissions before for people irl. Like a couple years back my aunt commissioned me to draw Gengar and Bulbasaur and paid me like 60 bucks 17. what do you like to listen to while you draw? rock/metal, occasionally ambient medieval themed music if it's a more ethereal piece 18. what's the hardest thing in art for you? shading skin bleh. it doesn't work right in my rendering style 19. what skill are you learning/want to learn? uhhh rendering skin and realistic faces 20. do you put filters over your artwork? usually my good ol pals the add/hardlight/multiply layers yessir 21. does you family support you and your art? uh sure for the most part. I don't show my dad SLL because I dont want him to freak out over illinois, but he does like Aven. he thinks she's cute. also he mistook her for my sona once I'm dead 22. do you consider yourself as a beginner? nah. I'm an XPert (see what i did there) 23. what is a rule you always go by when creating art? uh whenever i sketch I use a pencil tool. also I usually put white colors on a seperate layer than the rest of the base colors so that I can shade them seperately 24. do you like drawing backgrounds? YESSSS- I'm not the best at it but I'm trying </3 25. can someone commission you? if so, put details! not atm. I could set up something if I wanted to now that I make money irl but I don't feel like it </3 26. what is the most important part of art? (color, form, etc.) shading usually does it for me. sometimes I'll love a piece I'm working on and then I'll add overlay shading and suddenly it looks like glorified crap 27. do you like to shade? shading is key 28. if you were to give a young artist a piece of advice, what would it be? practice. as much as you can. 29. as an artist, where do you see yourself in 2 years? seeing as how much I managed to improve in just a year, holy crap I do hope I'll be able to do realism by then fingers crossed 30. last question! do you genuinely enjoy making art? yeppers!
