Wolfpaw awoke and got shakily to his paws. He didn't recognize this forest. It was dark, and there was no light except from him. But, wait. That's not right. He looked down at his fur. But...that wasn't right either. That wasn't /his/ fur, the one he knew. It was grey, essentially, but parts of his tail and paws were covered in the night sky, with clouds and a constellation. He sat down and took a closer look at the constellation. It was Scorpius, located on the side of his tail, bordering another one, Lupus. Revenge of the Wolf, he thought. He had to remember where he was, how he got here. Was he...de@d? No. He couldn't be. Wolfpaw shot up and started pacing. There was no way. He remembered fighting another cat, with worms in his fur. Disgusting, he seethed. And then…there was a snap. Was that him? Then…he woke up here. But if he was de@d, what about Nimbuspaw? /His/ Nimbus…all by himself. What was he going to do? Wolfpaw thought back to all the moments with Nimbus. Snuggling, hunting together, and banter. And now…he promised Nimbus forever, and now it was never, forever. He dug his claws into the earth. What about his sister, Runepaw? Fae would probably be getting faer warrior name soon, but he wouldn’t. He guessed he could always self-proclaim, but that wouldn’t feel right. He sat back down, numb and hollow. He thought back to Nimbuspaw, how could he possibly live without him, but he was dead, how was he going to live? He wasn’t going to cry. No, he was going to make that rogue’s life living h3ll. Everywhere he turned, Wolfpaw would be there. He would ruin is life. He would take everyone from him, just like Pebble did to him. He would make Pebble pay for everything. Every minute of his life. Wolfpaw nodded. That sounded like a solid plan. And even though he couldn’t see Nimbuspaw from here, in the Dark Forest, where he belonged, he hoped Nimbuspaw would remember him. He hoped Nimbuspaw wouldn’t think too poorly of him, that he had selfishly gotten himself k!lled, even if that is what happened. Wolfpaw got up, his resolve made of steel, and went to make good on the promise he had given himself.
i know this is a bit late but...
