Hey, hope you’re doing well! Even though I’ve been pretty inactive (and I may continue to be), I’ve obviously still been drawing. But I do have a whole philosophical speech to give you before I ditch this site for high school, so you can check that out: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1169770802/ I’m not going to merge both projects into one; my rant is for the other project. So enjoy my art (even though I only expect like 5 people to at this point). ➹ ➹ ➹ Art • 1. Essentially represents me at my worst when perfectionism gets in the way of my work. I did this for art class. • 2, 3, 4, and 5 are stages of how I made a drawing for an assignment. We read The Hate U Give in Language Arts, so I had to draw Uncle Carlos with symbolism and all that. I liked what I did. • 6. Idk tbh • 7. Also don’t know • 8. Most of these drawings were just stashed in my Sketchbook app, so I just put them on Scratch and deleted them. Welcome to the backrooms of my iPad. • 9. Superhero me! • 10. We were coming up with New Year’s power words in Advisory. Gratitude was going to be my pick. We never ended up finishing the assignment though. • 11. We were watching Shark Tank, and Lori kept saying all these funny things, so me and my brother wrote them down. Great stuff. • 12. We had an e-Learning day, and I remember making this at like, 6 in the morning. It was an interesting day, let’s just say that. • 13. In art class, we were playing guess the drawing (on the same day), so this is what I drew. A warrior, I suppose. • 14. Just a cool little samurai guy I drew during passing period that cold, January day. • 15. A draft of what I was originally going to draw for the art project (costume 1). • 16. Another draft • 17. Doodle • 18. Yet another draft. I truly was looking for something with a deeper meaning, however, so this just didn’t make the cut. • 19. And this didn’t either! Back then I was in a pigtail phase. Boy, that took me off the planet. • 20. In Spanish, we made posters on different Hispanic famous people! So my group did Jenna Ortega, and there you have it. • 21. Random doodle. There’s a lot of these here… • 22. Procrastination, seriously! Could’ve been doing work, but I didn’t feel the need to. There were cool markers in my reach, so I ended up using ‘em. • 23. More random junk. • 24. If you opened the paper, you’d see a list of bands whom I’ve completed their full album catalogues. Includes Imagine Dragons, Coldplay, and twenty one pilots, because that’s who I’d finished at the time. • 25. Don’t ask. My brother’s a Gen Alpha. • 26. Ceiling tile design drafts… which never became reality. • 27. State testing doodles. The new Fortnite season had just come out. A new one’s already out, and I haven’t played in a month… • 28. We were learning about the Holocaust in Social Studies, and we had to create a poster that encapsulates the essence of how brutal it was. This was my first draft. • 29. And this was my final result! • 30. I learned that using a cotton swab on graphite makes for some really cool effects. It’s amazing. • 31. More state testing doodles! These are characters from The Brady Bunch! • 32. Greg was down below, but I never got to finish the rest. • 33. State testing doodles. I was clearly having an interesting time, trying to figure out how I’d survive the inescapable pool of work I still had to finish. • 34. We have an Asian-Pacific Islander Desi American celebration in our school, so they asked me to make a shirt design for teachers on the committee. They never used mine though. I’m not surprised, it looks dingy. • 35, 36, 37, and 38. Testing doodles part 21. • 39. APIDA logo in full dimension. • 40. We had a vocabulary word and had to draw it. Easy peasy LA stuff. • 41. For APIDA, we also researched Asian scientists for science class and had to fill in the template. This is what I did. • 42. Lunchtime doodles. Chicken jockey was everywhere. I’ll never forget how much the Minecraft movie brought me and my friends together. It was a magical time for me, personally speaking. • 43, 44, and 45. Ceiling tile design drafts… again • 46. I was transitioning into joining another friend group, and there were now 2 friend groups I was a part of. I felt like I was abandoning my other friends by hanging out with the “new” (because technically those friends aren’t new, I just started hanging out with them more) friend group. But my first friend group is immensely supportive, so I’m good. I’m a lucky kid. • 47. Me that day. I bet it was a great one. • 48. Science class doodle. • 49.
