It followed the most recent incarnation of the Grim Reaper named Hansen Le'Daunte, who was rumored to be a rich prince in his mortal life. His lifelong friend is a she-vampire named Mitess, who got permanently stuck as a bat after her spell to make her invulnerable to sunlight went badly wrong. The comic was supposed to follow his struggles with having to take souls too early to the afterlife, as he felt that all lives had a right to live out their dreams, but due to his duties he couldn't do anything about it. He resolves to travel to see the other forces of nature to try and make an agreement, but when they disagree with him he vows to try and liberate mankind from unjust death whilst trying to figure out who he was in his previous life before he was appointed the Grim Reaper. A few other characters included an elf named Timothy who thought he was a human, a werewolf named Lupin who worked as a lumberjack in the local village, and a fire fae named Victory who served as a messenger for the incarnation of fire. It was a neat concept but sadly I dropped the comic only 12 pages in or so due to 1: getting banned on my first account and 2: working on other projects. The art sucked and the plot was barely fleshed out at all. But now that it's been a while, I've been wondering: Would it make a cool side project to SLL? I don't plan on adapting Reaper into comic form but writing it as a novel would be really fun imo. It wouldn't include romance or anything of the sort so there's that. Would you want to read it? Does the concept sound original?
