@BarryFans is making a Summer Edition of my AY-minigame Barrel Extravaganza ( https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/549270792/ ). However, he requires the presence of my OCs in the initial remix while also dressing appropriately for the summer edition, given that me, ZYella, Nanobross, Skylar, and Zac were all in the original. At first, I didn't feel like contributing to this summer edition, until Barry asked his fans (no pun intended) for ideas to make the summer edition more interesting. They did not disappoint, which is how I actually got interested in the minigame's development. With this new motive in place, I began to make the assets we needed for the minigame. On top of that, I also provided sprites for the new barrels from the suggestions that I suggested Barry should add (plus the water barrel that he added himself). For my characters, all of them have up-to date voices and poses in their summer outfits (with the exception of Zac since he does not require a summer outfit). Yes, rather than using swimsuits, I decided to have my OCs use their summer outfits in an AY-minigame for the first time as I just felt like it was more fitting than swimsuits for this particular minigame. For all of my players, they have 4 footstep sounds, 0 seconds per run frame, 4 ouch voices, and their seconds per frame should be disabled (aka set it to anything other than yes). As for the size of my players, I scaled my players based on my normal scaling method rather than the original one used in Barrel Extravaganza as it was easier for me to make and reuse. Barry, you'll have to experiment with the sizes until my players appear the same size as to how they appeared in Barrel Extravaganza. All of my players are scaled proportionately to each other, so they all must have the same size value. On top of the water barrel, there are four fan suggestions that I considered for Barry to add in the minigame: The big waves suggested by @ConeyFan999, the palm tree barrel suggested by @FreePlayArcade, the geyser barrel suggested by @SuperCoolCoder9500, and the beach ball barrel suggested by @elliotthenice. I’ll let Barry deal with the sprite for the big wave, but I did manage to provide sprites for the other three ideas plus the water barrel. I will describe each idea that I provided sprites for below. WATER BARREL: Barry already implemented this barrel into the minigame, but I wanted to polish up its sprite to match the style of the modern barrel sprites. Not only that, but I think it should also have a falling form to be consistent with the other barrels. When it falls, it’ll only make a small slippery water puddle where it lands. PALM TREE BARREL: Barry already implemented this barrel using @FreePlayArcade’s concept sprite, plus the latter already explained how this barrel would work ( https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1030795184/ ). I don’t really need to explain much here, but with this new palm tree sprite I have in mind, you may want to have any palm trees in the background match it for consistency. Of course, I also updated the barrel’s sprite itself too. GEYSER BARREL: I was originally going to have the palm tree barrel replace this idea, but after a mishap I had with @elliotthenice, I’ve decided to have this barrel coexist with the palm tree barrel instead. Basically, it’ll release a geyser when it hits someone or the ground, which can launch players twice as high than a palm tree can. The barrel was concepted by @SuperCoolCoder9500. I still feel bad about myself regarding that mishap I had, and to make it up… BEACH BALL BARREL: I’m deciding to have Barry add @elliotthenice’s beach ball barrel. Okay, so I know Elliot already provided a sprite for it, but unfortunately, I never knew that it existed until I started writing these instructions to this project after I made my own sprite for it. I’m REALLY sorry about that. In my eyes, I imagined that the barrel would be made of glass and the beach balls would be colored like Marble Hill REDUX’s multi marble.
