I wrote this poem because this is something I struggle with a lot. I don't really understand if people really want me to "be myself" because when I tried, I'd be laughed at. It's actually quite difficult to tell if someone is being genuine with what they are saying or are just trying to be nice. In my opinion, it's better to tell the truth because I rather have a harsh truth than be misled. So please, WDYM??
