SIGHT - An Animated Series Since the DMAC is closed, and I need a new project, I propose SIGHT, an animated series powered by the community. With a focus on bringing representation to light. Most stories are powered by a creator with a story, and they want to share that story with the world, but what if we put a twist in that, what if the community wrote the story. This would allow for so much more creativity. All the character designs and backstories developed by individual creators coming together to form a world. We don't follow society's rules, we make the story as weird and wild as we'd like, but relatable to us. However, there are a few guidelines that we should follow. - RULES - -SIGHT feature a heavy focus on LGBTQIA+, racial diversity, and underground subcultures such as: punk, goth, emo, alt, and scene. If you do not support these things, you can leave, you don't need to say anything negative, just go. Homophobia, transphobia, racism, anti-furry, and ableism, will NOT be tolerated. Make sure all suggestions and character designs follow the Scratch guidelines. Since I will be drawing/animating this, please refrain from giving your character designs much... "feminine curvature" it makes me VERY uncomfortable to draw. You may use ANY medium to display your character design as long as it is appropriate, understandable, and I can access it. This includes Gatcha and Picrew. Please submit your character designs via a link to a Scratch project in the comments. Any suggestions you may want to add are also welcome, this is powered by the community after all. This series will focus on humanoid characters, this includes anthros. It will focus on high school age characters. Most of the protagonists will be LGBTQIA+ and be stylized after an underground subculture. -Voice actors needed! -Assisting animators welcome! One character design/voice per person (at least until episode 1 comes out) This will be styled more like a colored animatic, but know that its specifically tailored for Scratch, and each frame is made by just one person.
SIGHT will focus on overlapping stories, each told from an individual perspective. Its goal is to make everyone feel seen and heard.
