VorTech came out with their first big hit! The VTF-1a (VorTech Fighter-1A), otherwise known as the Viper. A high speed fighter designed for close confrontation and quick kills. Great for intercepting other fighters, bombers, and occasionally ground attack (VTF-1c variant). It has a chaingun that can be loaded with laser bolts (VTF-1a and VTF-1b,) and plasma bolts (VTF-1c). It can hold up to 3 standard UWU air to air missiles, or for the VTF-1c, 3 GBU's or 2 large bombs. The Viper has a cloaking unit that can be activated for 5 minutes at a time (only in the VTF-1a and c variants) that prevents it from being detected visualy and reduces its detectable range from radar by 40%. The feature that makes this so special is its experimental drift-manuver mode, or as others call it, "The 0 gravity version of a cobra." What this does is It allows the whole jet to turn in any direction while still keeping its course, however, this only works in 0 gravity environments and is only available for the VTF-1a variant. All variants include flares and a gravity chaff. The difference is, the VTF-1a is the main variant with all features included and is meant for 0g air to air combat. It is not purchasable by any other countries but the URA as of now. The VTF-1b is similar to the main variant, but missing the cloaking unit and the drift manuver mode. It is purchasable by allies of the URA. The VTF-1c is customized for ground attack. It has the cloaking unit, but does not include the drift-manuver mode. It is not purchasable by any other countries.
Yes, it was a bit lazy, but its still better than some of the art here so I don't mind. SEE COSTUMES!
