In case you're wondering how Squirreltail got so many kits: Squirreltail is hunting in the woods. A mysterious stranger wearing a large squirming trench coat and a fedora approaches her. MS(mysterious stranger): You look lonely. Want to adopt some kits? SQ(Squirreltail): What? MS: Adopt some kits. I have 10 of them. 5 she-kits and 5 tom-kits. SQ: I do want kits... SQ: And Crownjewel is biologically nonbinary... SQ: Is this legal? MS: … MS: No. But think of it as "helping a kit in need". MS: I can show you my selection. SQ: Alright. MS: So, I will warn you that most of them come in pairs/trios. I cannot separate them, because they're littermates. MS: They're all old enough to feed themselves and walk. MS: *opens trench coat* So these three, the tan speckled one, the brown one, and the white and orange one are brothers. Then the pink, purple, and yellow one and the dark green one are siblings. The orange one and the charcoal gray one with the orange spot are siblings. The pale green one with green stripes and the tan one with the Canadian flag are sisters. And this bluish gray one with white stripes is alone. SQ: They're so cute!!! I want them all! MS: All of them?!? MS: Okay. MS: They're yours. The mysterious stranger places the kits on the ground, closes their trench coat, and walks away.
