File: Since our arrival of this planet, the "shadow kelp zone" is one of the first biomes we have discovered. We have named this type of gigantic kelp found here "shadow kelp", due to their darker colours compared to the ones on Earth. They also have a special trait, which are bioluminescent pores. When these pores when broken, it will release a deadly poison, causing great agony and slowly spreading throughout the victim's body, which are displayed by black spots. We believe this is an evolutionary trait that protects it from herbivorous organisms.
