Hi guys! Sorry for delaying so much on publishing the results, but they are out now and we can commence with the second Round! Also, thanks for helping me reach 200 Followers! It is a big pleasure to see that so many people are liking my stuff! So, the rules were that the better half of the entries gets to the next round. 10 entries were submitted, and 5 have received a great rating out of 50! Those who didn't make the second round can join the PGs board in the R1 project (link in Notes and Credits) if they wish. ALL EDITS WERE AMAZING, THANKS FOR PARTICIPATING to EVERYONE!!!! So now, R2 is going to be a bit harsher. This time, I have more specific requests, the rating has more criteria and ONLY 2 OUT OF THE 5 R2's will make it to the EDIT CUP FINAL! REQUEST FOR R2: To the 5 that came through, please remix this project and make an edit about a player from the Bundesliga. It is valid as long as the player has a contract at the club he is playing or is loaned to a BuLi club from a foreign league. It also can be a player who plays for the Youth Team of the BuLi club, like Gittens, Duranville etc. Please make sure to have it submitted before 1 June. If this project was not remixed, then the entry doesn't count. This may sound weird but DONT MAKE AN EDIT ABOUT FLORAIN WIRTZ. It will make my opinion more biased and I want every participant to be treated and rated under equal conditions. If you do, please make a new edit (sry!) CRITERIA: As I mentioned, the criteria will be harsher and the point system a bit different. So, here it is outlined detailedly: - Clips (15pts) Good and seeable clips are a must. If they are too pixelated or hard to recognise at ANY POINT EVEN FOR A SECOND, that will impact your score. NO PHOTOS of players as well in the edit, only clips. If the clips are absolutelly not visible and look very dodgy (like messed up costumes) then the edit will get a 0/50. No mercy. - Effects (30pts) The Effects can be any, in capcut AS WELL AS in scratch, as long as it doesn't impact the visibility of the clip. I would advise against too much slow-mo, since I like dynamic edits where the clip lasts no more than 2 seconds (its a guideline but must not be followed if you don't want to). Speed effects have to fit the music, otherwise I will deduct points. Also, please include some goals, assists, dribbles, tackles, not only moments where the players celebrate (you can include them too, just not too many). If the frame rate of the clips is clearly affecting how smooth the edit runs, which is very visible on scratch, then point dedication will also take place. - Thumbnail (5pts) Make the thumbnail look good! Resemble it with the players club, nationality, or anything else relevant to him! You can go very detailed, add a lot of colour, but the player has to be visible. Blurs, Transparency and colour grading of elements is welcome, but shouldn't be covering the player too much. Make it with any software you are comfortable with, just remember: Detail and Colour will make it count. That's it!
