Hey, it's me Red-coyote_therian, also known as Max. today I have injustice to talk to you about.I need everyone to like and favorite this, spread the word PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. Moss shadow for all those who don't know who moss shadow was, he was a very popular game creator, who used to be on scratch, and involuntarily had to leave due to unfair reports, and drawing a furry. Not only that, but they explained what a furry was. (if this is not totally accurate pls tell me! Go guardian blocked me from almost every website, so feel free to remix this and fix some of the details!) this treatment was unfair to moss shadow, and many people are still trying to dig up their AMAZING GAMES!!!!! #bring back mossy this brings me to my second point… FALSE REPORTS this is a VERY crucial topic. DO NOT I repeat-DO NOT REPORT SOMEONE AS A JOKE!!!!! It is NOT funny. This could possibly get someone banned. The only time you really need to report someone is if they are either not following the guidelines, cyberbullying, or their material or comments are inappropriate. Reporting WILL get people banned from scratch, sometimes unjustly. OVERALL at first, I thought of scratch as a fun coding website where everyone is kind and works together. Now, 2 months of being a scratcher makes me realize that the scratch team is not trying hard enough to stop this, so us Scratchers need to take matters into our own hands. Also, a note to therians and furries, I KNOW THE HATE THAT COMES TOWARD YOU!!!!!!! I myself am a therian, and I know all the pain this has caused you! Do not be afraid to report the people who direct cyberbullying towards you! GOODBYE <3
I joined scratch and thought it was all 'la-dee-da lets love and favorite projects!'. but then i found the LGBTQ+ community on here, and then the therian/furry/alterhuman community, and I realized it was so much more. These communities helped me figure out my true me- I'm a demigirl, or a nonbinary girl. I go by They/Them & Her/She pronouns, and can like any gender (Panromantic/Pansexual). I'm a furry and possible therian, who is still to scared to reveal true me to anyone but you guys. Scratch is the only place I feel safe to be- well, me. It's a place for people around the WORLD to interact and support each other, to make friends and communities together. It's a place for people to love, to cry, to support, and most of all TO OVERCOME-TOGETHER. So far I've only seen two examples of bullying and two false bans, but still. I started at least 5-10 safe studios now, including a helpline if people need to talk. I predict 70% of y'all won't even be reading this. 10% would heart/fave and walk away. another 10% would offer a supportive comment. 5% would start bullying. 4% will remix this just to spread the word. that last 1% will comment, heart, fave, remix, and get the word out, all because they RELATE to this and FEEL it. they get bullied, turned away, and pushed down, but they share because it gives them HOPE. for a better world, a better humanity, and a better Scratch. be that 1%. please. thank you for working to make scratch a better place!
