This is the largest Sai'goro warship to stardate, and it is nothing short of gargantuan. this thing can take down an entire fleet on its own, with or without the 20-something fighters it can hold within its massive hull.
Some lore: the Sai'goro often consider themselves to be the most superior species in all the Sal-anar galaxy, or as we call it, the Milky Way. But there is one creature who they cannot hope to ascend: the Galaxy Birds. Great winged birds that wander through space, tending to their respective galaxies. For awhile, Gustav Spacebird (the name given to him by many inhabitants of the Milky Way), the Galaxy Bird of Sal-anar, on his constant overlooking of the various peoples stopped at Sai'gahar, the Sai'goro's homeworld. The then rather primitive people were in awe of his power, and ever since strove to mimic his blue feathers and great spacefaring wings in their transportation. With time they became spacefarers themselves. Around the time the first deep-space-ready vessels left the planet, Gustav had come around again, feeling something was amiss. The people saw him and found that their efforts at reproducing him in their spacecraft were futile, as they were much too small. And so they created the War Carrier, a massive self-propelled microplanet that could sustain generation upon generation, as well as house enough supplies and starships to conquer hundreds of systems. The quest for ascension had begun...
