Rant section: OK bro, i'm actually sick and tired of this website. I came back from a long hiatus, tryna take a break from the fame cause it was rotting my brain. And at this point, fame hungriness isnt even a problem on this website. It's the content. Generic projects left and right. ESSA and bands of other people joining together, remixing projects to exploit the crap scratch algorithm, and so many other forms of drama in the scratch community. THIS PMO SO MUCH BRUH. As a 4 year scratch veteran i've seen people come to fame and died. Why can't we go back to the time where scratch was fun and peak at the same time? Go back to the 2021 era where scratchers actually posted quality projects, didn't care about the fame, and just had fun and made friends? Nowadays we're watching our backs to see whether or not there's gonna be sensitive content on this website. THIS IS MADE FOR 8 YEAR OLDS LEARNING HOW TO CODE!! Sorry, but I needed to get that out of the way. This is how we are going to do this, and save scratch once and for all. Firstly, we have to genuinely mass (everyone needs to) reach out not to scratch, but to MIT (the creators of scratch) so that we get noticed. We must have a list of grievances and stuff that must be needed to convince them in moving on from scratch 3.0 and moving towards to building a scratch 4.0. Fixes: - A legit trending algorithm. No one singular scratcher can just randomly get on trending. A project has to be legitimately trending to be shown. -In depth project revision. Thumbnails and content must be reviewed by better, more efficient bots. -Mass reports have to be reviewed by an actual person. No false reports. -Sensitive content showcasing any form of harmful content must be immediately detected by bots, removed, and reported/banned. -A working website. (Comments load glitches fixed ect) -More features: The ability to turn off ads for example on profiles. -Hashtags are relevant. Bots will detect if your project is an animation, game, ect. Then it will put it in the corresponding #. -Better community. Scratch emphasizes a better community. -Less social media based. Scratchers get addicted otherwise. -Fun! We really need to reach out to scratch. I will organize many different influential people on scratch and we will fight for a better community or get banned trying.
