CLOSED, RESULTS TODAY [reshared to get more views] [originally posted April 24th] FINALLY IT'S OUT! *apologizes for missing my 150+ and posting when I have 216 ish* anyways To celebrate my accomplishment of gaining 200 followers on Scratch, I am hosting a DMAC! Please read below for rules, ways to have a better chance of winning, prizes, FAQ, and how to enter. Draw Me A Character [IMPORTANT: (bc some people don't know the basic rules of a DMAC /gen) I WILL ONLY BE KEEPING THE CHARACTERS THAT WIN. (this does not include honorable mentions)] [IMPORTANT #2: I might want to change something minor about the character such as pronouns/gender/name/etc. because I will own the character. if you are not okay with this, please tell me and I will respect your wishes.] Rules: • USE THE FORM TO ENTER (found below) • the deadline is May 15th, but will be extended if there are less than 20 entries on both Scratch and DA combined • keep it PG (minimal gore is allowed though) • limit of 3 entries per person (you can put all your entries in one mood board if you'd like) • do not put down yours' or others' art • an entry counts as one work of art. this can be a ref sheet, scene, animation, fullbody, etc. • humans and ferals only Prizes: The Winners -> Up to 6 people on Scratch and DA combined -> A ref sheet, full-body scene, and a headshot OR still icon (you choose) The Honorable Mentions: -> Up to 3 people on Scratch and DA combined -> A headshot OR a still icon (you choose) Better chances of winning (in no order) -> humans, cats, dragons, and dogs preferred -> Fur patterns -> Multiple entries -> Accessories -> Good use of the mood board -> Backstory FAQ: Q: Do I have to give up the character I design if I win? A: No, of course not! If you have fallen in love with the character you have created, then you can keep it. You just won't get the prizes. I will still announce you as winner. Q: If I get honorable mention are you keeping my character? A: No, I just thought that you were close to the winners and that you should get a prize. Q: What happens if I don't win? A: If you get honorable mention or don't win at all, you are free to do whatever you want with the character. If you don't want to use it for yourself, I would recommend putting it up as an OTA or something of the sort. Q: Am I allowed to drop out? A: Of course! No worries if you're too busy or something comes up! Just please notify me! Q: Do I have to use one of the moodboards? A: No, these are just a few that I like the most. Q: Can I enter an existing design? A: Yes!
