Then she and her ninja team sneak into the palace and take something extremely valuable. Kauden hates the rebellion. Maybe it was his parents that made him dislike them, after all, they made him become a soldier in the first place. Maybe it was the emperor, who trained him and could’ve brainwashed him in the process. Whoever it was, he knows he must protect the emperor. Even if he doesn’t want to, he’s loyal to his parents. But maybe he should join the rebellion? Who knows? And why does he keep hearing wolves at night? Aron has a secret. No one knows it. It’s a secret, obviously. But it’s only a matter of time before the guards spot him shifting and capture him. That’s why he stays in the forest, only sneaking into the empire to get supplies. Otherwise, he’s got what he needs. Friends, a pretty sick treehouse, and a whole world to explore. But couldn’t there be just one McDonalds in the empire that will accept an orphan?
