This was a good update on the side that blocks can now be high-contrast, thus making them easier to read, especially for those with visual impairments. The problem is that Scratch's main color changed from the classic blue to a pale purple. The purple is darker than the bright blue and makes the white text easier to see, so it's not that bad. But many Scratchers were upset, even angry by the change. Scratch had always been blue. Blue is a vibrant color and is a complementary color to Scratch orange, meaning they are on opposite sides of the color wheel. Complementary colors always go very well together. The Solution The solution is simple. Since we shouldn't entirely remove the purple color, as it is helpful and accepted already by many, so just add a way to switch between blue and purple. Dark Mode In addition to bringing blue back, another important thing that #bringbackblue supports is dark mode. Adding dark mode would definitely fit the update theme and has been wanted for years by many, many people. #bringbackblue
