Note: I don't have my friends' opinions on furries yet So! We were talking to these year 9s and year 10s and one of the year 10 girls said, "I'm a furry." and I was just standing there, stunned, wondering if she was lying or not, and she added, "Are any of you furries?" and I stuttered, "Yes? Kind of? Maybe?" even though I KNOW the answer is a complete yes, and one of my friends asked, "Are you? Actually?" and then I said "Ummm yes, yes I am". And the year 10 said, "Great! Let's do blahblahblah!". I was just so confused and so suspicious of her and I still don't know if any of those people actually are/support furries so I'm kind of in a tough situation. Anyway sorry for the big chunk of text there but I need some way to come out fully :') [edit] okay so i made a mask (like not a fursuit head, just like a therian mask) and my parents said it looked cute (i don't think they know what furries/therians/etc. are so they probably saw it as just a cute little mask i made (btw I'm going to post a project about it :P). So hopefully that'll kind of make me feel more comfortable <33
