Mettaton Ex Dance Show (by cheddargirl) ========== I thought I'd do a continuation of my other recent project, "Mettaton Ex Walk Animation" (https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/112676685/). Because with legs like those, why stick with just walking? :P If you like dance animations in general, you might also like an earlier dance animation of mine called "Plushie Go Boogie" (https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/16303263/), which features a dancing "Yu-Gi-Oh!" plush toy. Speaking of "Plushie Go Boogie": The number of costumes to make the plushie dance in "Plushie Go Boogie" was 51, whereas the number of costumes to make Mettaton dance in this animation is a whopping 93. It's not that Mettaton's dance sequence is more complicated - rather, it's because his body is not symmetrical. In "Plushie Go Boogie", I could take advantage of the direction blocks when I wanted to make the plushie look left and right due to symmetry. I couldn't do that here with Mettaton and had to separately design left and right movements (had this not been the case, the number of costumes would be reduced to 47). Regarding 4 and 5: You'll notice those dance images only show the torso and show little-to-no leg movement, so I had to animate all the leg movement myself. The other dance movements (the clapping movements and leg kicks) also drawn by myself. Having did ballet for 10 years when I was younger came in rather handy here, lol.
