Just a demo of what happens if you multi-"stamp" a costume. It's a little darker! But, why??? I asked the question and was rewarded with the answer: Anti-aliasing produces semi-transparent pixels around the edges to smooth them out. Multiple stamps of a semi-transparent area "add" together to make a more solid look. You can use Windows Magnifier tool to zoom in on the edges to see the effect better.
