The scavenger grabbed a spear and cut them, he held the pearl tightly, the scavenger sliced their eyelid, “No!” Artificer shouted, Flare ran over to them, “It’s okay” He said nervously, Artificer saw a scavenger aiming for Flare, “Run!” She shouted, he dodged the spear and ran for the lake, a scavenger grabbed them from the water. He had two leeches on them. The scavengers grabbed a rope and tied it around their necks, both Flare and Singe were pulled away. Artificers surroundings darkened and eventually she was sitting in a black void. She put their paws in their face and cried. “Wake up!” She heard a distant voice, she opened her eyes and saw Monk, “Let’s go!” He said, ‘I failed them’ Artificer thought, ‘I’ll find them, no scavenger will ever stand in my way again’
