GrEeTiNgS aNd SaLuTaTiOnS!!!! Welcome to Hamilton Polka, a high quality, multi-fandom, musical theatre-themed spoof MAP! (That was a mouthful O_o) Yeah I know I already hosted a fandom MAP, but since the last one had a serious song with a serious tone, this time I’m using a silly song! This MAP will start off as your average fandom MAP (plus some spoofi-ness), get more chaotic, and eventually toward the end, the whole thing just falls apart! RULES (Kind of specific, I hope this isn’t confusing for anyone!) 1. Use the form below the rules to apply for a part 2. Limit 3 parts per person, 1 fandom per part unless otherwise specified in the special instructions. A single fandom may be used up to 3 times (Part 53+Outro do not count toward this), and each use must feature a different scene. Please don’t just hog a fandom by taking 3 parts and then using up the 3-uses-per-fandom rule though ;-; 3. I’m probably going to limit this to intermediate-advanced animators, but don’t be afraid to apply! 4. Any fandom is allowed as long as it is scratch-appropriate. However, I will not allow you to use Hamilton as your fandom, that’d be a bit redundant ;-; 5. Be silly! This is a spoof MAP after all, feel free to take a serious fandom and completely obliterate its tone! However, this is also a High Quality (HQ) spoof MAP, meaning that you should, from an animation/art perspective, treat it as a normal MAP part. Basically, do whatever you want, but remember that silly does not equal scribbles. 6. Some parts are slightly scripted or have extra instructions! You can still use your own fandoms, but if the part you want has a * next to it in the N+C, please check inside the project. 7. I’d also like this MAP to be a bit musical theatre-themed (the song is based off a musical lol-). While you don’t really have to worry about this too much if you don’t have a part with special instructions, feel free to implement theatre mechanics into your part if you’d like to, such as spotlights, set changes, makeshift props and whatnot. While not required, if you’re not a theatre kid and want help with this, feel free to ask me :) 8. Please base your part around your fandom’s canon material! Slight character design headcanons are fine, as well as humanizing/catifying/species-swapping the characters if you’d like. 9. Please follow the directions in the code section of the “Your Part” sprite! I’ll be able to put the complete MAP together faster if you do! No codeword, but on the “Did you read the rules?” part of the form, don’t actually answer the question just put something random (cannot be the same as the person before you) 10. You get 3 weeks to finish your part, extensions are available as long as you show me a WIP. 11. You may catify/humanize/species-swap characters if you want to :) 12. Keep gore to a minimum! You don’t want your part or the completed MAP getting taken down :( 13. Thumbnail contest is open until the complete MAP is shared! Try featuring multiple fandoms and characters in your entry, and implement the theatre theme if you can :) You don’t need to fill out the form if you’re just making a TNE. 14. Have fun! Local idiot gets squished </3 (Dw they can cheat death) ~~~ I've kept this to myself long enough. So I thought I was having a really strong fixation when I got into Undertale Yellow last year, and that certainly was true, but then May 2024 happened... After having gone a long time without any major fixations, it's like UTY opened the door to my mind a little and wrote on a lot of things. It left a strong presence. Then, as that hyperfixation was closing, In Stars and Time violently ripped the door off its hinges, held up a mirror to my psyche, and scribbled over everything with a permanent marker. And my brain is still trying unsuccessfully to repair that door so even though the strongest obsession phase is over I'm still quite fixated on it even a year later I'd been planning to introduce ISaT to my profile for a long time with a more serious animatic, but this MAP came along and I could not resist the perfect opportunity lolll I mean it's musical theatre themed and everything... perfection Anyway In Stars and Time is a very cool timeloop RPG you should check it out if you can (and/or watch a playthrough like I did) though be mindful as it does go into some heavy mental health topics at times ~~~ Characters: Siffrin (In Stars and Time) by insertdisc5 Song "Hamilton Polka" by Weird Al Yankovic
