i apologize for this rant but i gotta get it out of my system *clears throat* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` oKAY so I've seen a recent spike in the number of incidents in which the following occurs: ` >there's a perfectly peaceful studio promoting idea x >someone comments something that is in general "I do not like or support idea x and therefore I dislike this studio/people who support idea x" >another comments, "well then please don't comment in the studio no need to be rude" (or alternately a rebuttal) and then a full-blown argument ensues. or a counter-studio is created. ` [side note- see a lot of this especially with LGBTQ+ studios] ` but anyway ??? why do these incidents keep happening repeatedly?? y'all gotta read the guidelines there's RESPECT right on there and YES people have the right to free speech and opinion BUT that doesn't mean that you have to be shouting at each other back and forth like instead it could go "I disagree with idea x, so I won't be in this studio" or you could just not comment at all, which would be best. just like don't be a jerk ` and as a side note don't censor people's ideas?? like even if you disagree with them they have a right to say what they want so yeah even if it's a disagreement just don't be jerks to others based on opinions, no matter which way it goes ... yeah and also if someone doesn't like you DON'T automatically assume that it's because you're x, y, or z and they're opposed to x, y, and/or z like that may be the case but you gotta check yourself ... that's it you can go home now ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
sorry for all the reading the drawing is mine and yeah uuuuuuuuueeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhh i'm so glad that's out of my system also if you disagree with me that's okay--just don't be too much of a jerk if you want to debate with me feel free to--but don't let it be one of those debates (we all know the ones)
