...i was just toasting a bagel, wanted butter on the bagel, because i never get butter on bread or anything and decided to do it today, tried softening the butter by holding it over the oven where the bagel was toasting, and suddenly the paper lining of the butter is aflame. panic. throw it into the sink. the wet, dirty sink that's full of dirty dishes. panic because the butter is still on fire. turn on the water, that's a great idea. butter is now extinguished. the butter has trauma. this all happened in a few seconds. i just set butter on fire, how did this happen. ToT
oh, yeah, the kitchen smells like you just extinguished birthday candles now how will i explain this to my parents edit, 6/4/25: it was explained, mom doesn't care too much about the burnt butter lol i'm fine don't worry
