The Galat empire has been using the same armor, equipment, and weapons for decades, it's about time it gets an upgrade. This is the new standard infantry armor and equipment. The MWI-2012 combat exoskeleton The MWI-2012 is a combat exoskeleton that uses the following features: 1. Built in night vision and hud including ammo count, vital signs, and armor durability. 2. Life support 3. System that draws energy from specialized wall chargers to power and enhance the armor. 4. Anti-matter protection. This doesn't make the user completely invincible to it, but does nullify the effects slightly. 5. Togglable weak shield deflectors. 6. Armor strong enough to stop pistols, revolvers, most shotgun pellets, most blasters, most SMGs, most assault rifles, and a few machine guns while not protecting well from explosives or vehicle mounted guns. tank shells will also obliterate it. Though continuous rifle fire or a well placed rifle shot can take it down fast. 7. Respirator that protects the user from about all airborne hazards (blood fungus, chemical warfare etc) 8. Impact compensation 9. Weapon storage along with a weapon switching system that automatically disassembles and reassembles weapons The exoskeleton is also immune to radiation, acid, and toxic waste. Lasers have little to no effect as well. GDER-24 rifle The GDER-24 or AR4 for short is the new standard issue assault rifles used by the galat army. While the standard bolters have not been completely phased out, SMGs have been replaced and bolters are starting to be used slightly less. The AR4 has a 30 round magazine and can pierce/damage most armor. It's alt fire is a fast anti matter projectile.
for my nation in RMG also I had to nerf the armor various times so that I don't accidentally power play and btw the shortened description is it's pretty much just a HEV suit form half life with a few added features and extra armor.
