This week started off good. Well, not with hostility, that's for sure. Furze of all cats came to our hideout to warn us that Skylar knew where we were hiding and was planning on attacking us. At the time, Harbor was outside. I was kinda shocked, because Furze seems like they don't like being with Skylar, but surely they wouldn't betray him? Furze explained that they thought that Skylar was the last shred of family they had since Vegas left, since the rest of their litter had zombified, died, or ran away. After a while of deciding, they decided to separate themself from the situation entirely; they were on neither side, and only wanted to see their siblings. Vegas and Socks were happy to see Furze, and to my surprise, Sage warmed up to them. Just then, Harbor came inside, and before anyone could explain anything, as soon as he saw Furze, he charged at them and paused. It dawned on me that he was trying to attack them since his claws were unsheathed, but their fur was too thick to cut! I told Harbor off, and he quickly apologized, and Furze seemed more amused than anything. After that, Furze stayed for the rest of the day before leaving. Sage was really sad when they left, and she was doing this thing that I call "thought-searching", where she paces along the walls of where we're staying, and if anyone's in her way, she bumps into them. She apologizes, of course, but I've always found it funny. I wonder what she's thinking about, though. The rest of this week, we saw Skylar alone, so I doubt that Skylar took to Furze's leaving kindly. Furze didn't seem beat up about it because they're consistently visiting us every other day in our new hideout. I think I may grow to really like Furze!
